What a day, my first sprint race since 1993.Firstly a Huge thanks to Ross Corner for allowing me the use his kart for the meeting to race Tillotson Racing Light at our home track Orange Kart Club. A quick change from slicks to wets in the morning before practice and off I went. Was wet all day by differing amounts of moisture, loved the rain, especially with the current drought conditions. Raced on used wets for the day, new ones would have been 2 seconds a lap quicker, but its not always about the lap times, the used ones were fun, understeer and oversteer everywhere can be fun.Weather kept numbers down around the paddock, to get a result you must race in what ever conditions you get.Plenty of good banter around the pits, kids having fun between races, Orange kart club is fantastic club for everyone. A credit to the club and all the KNSW – #togetherwerace officials. Thanks to Nic Pic Nsw for the photos, and braving rain, always with a smile on.Thanks to those that make it happen for,Demon Tweeks Motorsport Rip the Lip apparel AFF Motorsport AFF Creations MetaWeb IT – Tech Support & Web Design Karting NSWCar and Bike News Back into Endurance karting mode this weekend.
